NOT AVAILABLE CURRENTLY ****************** The L5A translucent magazine is a tough, robust magazine that actually allows you to count your rounds. This redesign of the original L5 magazine allows use with 5.56mm SA80, HK416 and Beretta ARX-160 rifle systems. The magazine has been combat proven and is a must for the professional soldier.

The L5A’s design has incorporated a number of user recommended changes from the previous L5:

- the magazine well stop has been replaced with a lower profile support rib. The new rib makes the L5A easier to get out of magazine pouches and allows the magazine to be utilized with the H&K 416, SA80, ARX-160 as well as the AR/M4/M16 weapon systems.

- the bottom of the magazine’s body has been reinforced to improve bottom retention.

The L5A retains the qualities of the original L5 magazine

- Impact resistant translucent polymer body
- Corrosion resistant steel feed lips
- Constant curve internal geometry and removable
- Rubber coated bottom

Extensive customer led testing formed a crucial part of the product development process to ensure credible robustness for the Military and Law Enforcement services use. The translucent polymer body is impact resistant through a wide range of temperature operation from low (-40F) to high (+150F)

Withstands 5’ drop, fully loaded onto concrete at -40F and +180F

Withstands 5’ drop, fully loaded dropped with rifle

Body and component materials - corrosion and chemical resistant

Design incorporates a constant radius geometry that facilitates follower/spring travel

Body texture, contour and rubber coated bottom are designed to provide positive gripping and improve retrieval from magazine pouches

Steel feed lips with a corrosive resistant coating, permanently moulded into the body

The L5 Translucent Magazine has been tested and recommended by the members of the National Tactical Officers Association.

The Cinch was designed to match the unique contours of the L5’s polymer body and align with the molded ribs ensuring the magazines are aligned and held securely without obscuring the view of the rounds.
