If your assault vest is not mentioned here please call for advice
This armour is by far the best fitting of all our armour, each set is cut specifically to fit the vest required, where each vest allows the armour is literally cut to fit the vest, taking in every inch of coverage that the vest carrier will allow. To comare with other soft armour, standard off the shelf armour is noramlly cut to fit a general vest size area, this armour takes in shoulder areas and is literally a struggle to fit into the vest carrier.
Our more popular fit cuts are kept in stock, if this item is not in stock it can take between 4 - 6 weeks.
What is a V-50?
The V-50 is a theoretical velocity at which a given projectile (Fragmentation) is going to penetrate the ballistic material 50% of the time and be defeated by the armor material 50% of the time. In tests for flexible ballistic resistant body armor, the projectiles must be stopped with certainty. This means that the vest must be designed so as to have a velocity resistance substantially higher than the ballistic rated limit. For any ballistic resistant material, the higher the V-50 rating, the higher the ballistic protection within a specific level.
