- AQUITY Sponsored Team Satori compete at World Challenge
2009 and New Team Member |
Satori
wth Lee Love began with the training until the new
member had to step back due to his job situation.
The three remaining Satoris, Aaron Faith, Julia Foxwell
and Katie Woods, did not give up despite the ongoing
setbacks. The impressive motivation and persistance
of this 3-way has been contagious, and another former
XL member agreed to fill the Center Inside slot in
2009 and replace Lee Love. John McIver is the new
Satori member." The former XL member replacing
the other former XL member did not compete for Satori
in Bedford though. He had already committed to the
real XL reunion of the original 2003 lineup at this
year's World Challenge. Brian Johnson filled in for
John McIver and helped Satori in Bedford this year.
Satori has a very good chance to make the first and
most important step towards the 2010 goal this year
successfully: winning the UK Nationals 2009. The UK
championship is scheduled for August, and Satori has
three longer training camps on the agenda before the
main event this year.Read

and ESL |
AQUITY
sponsored skydiving team Satori achieved second place
at this years British National Skydiving Championships
held at Target Skysports in Hibaldstowe. The team
came 2nd only to outright favourites Bodyflight Storm.
It was a close battle round by round with Satori dropping
a point here and there. Satori will take the challange
to Bodyflight Storm next year as there is a World
Cup coming up in 2009 to compete for. The next competition
saw Satori travel to Holland where they also achieved
a Silver place with a round by round battle with Hollands
Texel Airport team. The results did not reflect the
closeness of the teams there was an unfortunate start
in Round 3 before they ripped the jump and earned
great respect with the moving speed. UK team Satori
put the pressure on his team on Texel last week. Compliments
for Satori for a great performance. Andy of AQUITY
commented "we are proud of these guys and look
forward to seeing them perform in the 2009 season
