| Help
our Heroes is an area on our website where we put information
about charitable events that our customers are involved. We
also have listed events that our friends who are serving members
of the British Army are involved, the charities involved include
The Royal British Legion, Help For Heroes and Jump4Heroes
who all provide essential help and support to soldiers and
their families. At AQUITY all staff membrs have husbands,
brothers and friends who proudly serve in the British Army. These
charities carry out wonderful work for soldiers and other
servicemen and women both directly and through support of
other service charities. AQUITY and our friends support these
charities in many different ways. Please feel free to make
a donation to any of the following charities if you would
like to sponsor any of the events. Email
us if you would like your event listed here. |

2009 - Jump4Heroes - BASE Jump Record for Royal British
Legion
We came so close to setting a new Guinness World Record
in Malaysia - 24 jumpers each to do 24 jumps in 24
hours. As a group we fell short. The Jump4Heroes team
members stepped up to the task and exceeded their
jump requirements with Cpl Deane ‘Smudge’
Smith beating by one the current record of 26 jumps
with one self-packed rig in the time and Major Alastair
Macartney then surpassing that with an impressive
32 and a new record. |

2009 - Jump4heroes - Base Jump from Eiger
We love the idea of jump for heroes, they are a team
of our friends who currently serve in
the MOD and they are doing what they love to do and
raise money for charities at the same time - brilliant.
The team plan to carry out numerous base jumps the
first was complete on 18th Sepember when three of
the Jump4Heroes team BASE jumped from the Eiger in
Switzerland. They leapt thousands of feet from the
famous 'mushroom' plateau, propelling themselves in
to freefall, flying their bodies enabling them to
literally track away from the cliff face.
